John DeMarco
Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer

John DeMarco is Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the ACS Unclaimed Property Clearinghouse. With over ten years of abandoned property experience, John oversees all operations and is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction.

Previously, John was Vice President of Information Services. In this role, he managed project control functions designed to alleviate the complexities of unclaimed property reporting and compliance with state laws. This included obtaining policies and procedures to ensure compliance, initiating audits, receiving, analyzing, and verifying records to determine eligibility requirements, and preparing detailed reports to states upon delivery of property. John’s tenure as Vice President of Information Services afforded him an invaluable understanding of unclaimed property auditing and reporting challenges.

John has also supervised several operational areas of the Clearinghouse since joining the company in 1998, gaining a reputation for increasing efficiency and teamwork.


John earned his B.A. in marketing from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
